Archos plays budget tablets also, they have $49 to $99 Arnova 7" tablets lined up, also 9.7" IPS $199 dual-core Archos Elements lined up. This XS line is just the high-end for now, and I guess they can have a margin to sell it down to $299 if needed. This tablet certainly is budget when compared to Asus Transformer, iPad3, Microsoft Surface (likely $599) and any other "high-end" 10" tablets with keyboard.
